Hey, I’m Bertram! Welcome to my corner of cyberspace.

I’m a builder who cares more about driving business outcomes than counting tickets closed.

I’m drawn to the front lines of real-world operations: talking to people, understanding how work actually gets done, and finding the bottlenecks that make their days harder. I approach these problems with a founder’s mindset—taking initiative, questioning assumptions, and following through from an initial idea to something people can use.

My work and exploration revolve around two pillars:

• Intelligence Analysis & Decision Support
  Cutting through information noise, connecting evidence, and turning data into insights that help people make better business decisions.

• Outcome-Driven Engineering
  Exploring the approaches represented by Forward Deployed Engineers, GTM Engineers, and Product Engineers: staying close to users, taking ownership of problems, and building software with a clear purpose and a practical way to evaluate its impact.

Here, I share that journey—discovering problems, taking ideas from zero to a working proof of concept, developing portfolio projects, and reflecting on how technology is changing the way we work. You’ll find the questions, trade-offs, and lessons alongside the things I build.
